About

mattiyu is a melodic and progressive house producer based in Bournemouth, United Kingdom.

His journey into electronic music began during his teenage years, when he first discovered EDM and became fascinated by the way melody and emotion could move people both on and off the dancefloor. What started as curiosity gradually developed into a deeper exploration of music production.

Over time, he developed his skills independently, experimenting with sound design, organic textures and layered instrumentation while learning how subtle details can transform the emotional direction of a track.

His released work is rooted in organic, melodic and progressive house. Warm textures, evolving builds, hypnotic grooves, emotive melodies and cinematic atmosphere form the foundation of his sound.

His newer work explores a more club-focused direction, drawing subtle inspiration from the emotional depth and melodic sensibility of trance while preserving the warmth and cinematic character of his earlier productions.

His catalogue includes ‘Oasi’ on Blue Dot Chill, ‘Lumière’ on White Soho and ‘Tulivu’ on Café De Anatolia.

As his sound continues to evolve, mattiyu crafts music designed to move both the dancefloor and the listener within.
